Vicolan Solar Homes & Renewable Energy Microgrid Solutions LLC is a creative architect required for the innovative design of net-zero energy residential buildings, exclusive solar-ready residential estates and neighbourhood centres, based on full compliance with the latest version of the International Energy Conservation Code and Platinum Level rating requirements of the U.S Green Building Council.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Solar and Energy Storage Systems Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Research, modeling, simulation, optimization, engineering design, development, procurements, project management, and system validation of smart renewable energy systems, microgrids, and power-to-X storage solutions for residential and commercial buildings.
• Business planning and management for distributed smart renewable energy microgrids and net metering platforms.
• End-use energy demand profiling.
• Requirements discovery, specifications, and documentation, including requirement details and system constraints, using approved international standards and appropriate regulatory and environmental guidelines.
• Requirements analysis, system modeling, optimization, and final design specifications.
• Management of installation contractors and empirical validation studies of active client systems.

Requirements
To apply, you must fulfill all the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering with a GPA of at least 3.2 on a 4-point system or 4.0 on a 5-point system.
• Successful completion of the NYSC.
• Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Technology or Building Services Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including MS Outlook), plus MS Visio and MS Project.
• The successful completion of a Post-Graduate Diploma in Software Engineering will be an added advantage.
• Not more than 26 years old at the end of August 2024.

Compensation Plan

• Salary: N240,000 per month. (Starting basic salary)
• N120,000 per month in benefits based on a cafeteria system.
• Additional individual performance bonus at the end of the business year based on company profitability, up to 200% of base annual remuneration.
