Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor actual performance against budgets.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Prepare documents and explanations for internal and external audits, and implement audit recommendations.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate and present financial reports to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Utilize accounting software and systems to streamline financial processes and improve accuracy.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience
- B.Sc/M.Sc in Accounting.
- All applicants must live close in Lagos
