Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain financial records, including general ledger
entries, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank
reconciliations. - Prepare and ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and
annual financial statements and reports. - Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and variance
analyses. - Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas
for improvement and implementing corrective actions. - Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies,
and relevant regulations. - Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of
financial data. - Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all tax
laws and regulations. - Collaborate with external auditors, providing necessary
documentation and information. - Manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational
needs. - Handle invoicing, payments, and collections to maintain
efficient cash management. - Support management with financial insights and recommendations.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Additional certification (such as ICAN) is a plus - Minimum of 6 years of post-qualification accounting experience, preferably in the
distribution, logistics, sports betting industry. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally 9, QuickBooks,
SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial
reporting. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving
skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
effectively. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Must be below 35 years of age
Note: This is a full-time, on-site position and the candidate should be willing to work from our Ogba-Ikeja Office.
