Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and
    execute an IT road map based on the overall strategy of the company.
  • Provide vision
    and leadership to the IT team through the development and maintenance of
    appropriate IT structure that supports the needs of the organization
  • Direct, plan, and oversee the implementation of major Technological and/or Digital
    initiatives to agreed specifications, budget, and timescale.
  • Establish and
    maintain efficient and reliable technology operations, including systems
    infrastructure, network, data management, and security protocols for high
    performance, uptime, and data integrity.
  • Responsible for
    end-to-end security of IT systems and data ensuring implementation of
    robust cybersecurity measures and conducting regular audits and risk
    assessments
  • Drive the
    company’s digital transformation holistically, driving innovation and
    efficiency through technology
  • Facilitate
    cost-effective and smarter information technology procurement practices.
  • Develop IT
    governance model and processes to achieve a flexible, efficient, and
    cost-effective approach to IT operations
  • Stay aware of
    the latest tech advancements to provide strategic insights and
    recommendations for maintaining our technological edge.
  • Present reports
    on the company’s information technology status, goals and/or progress.
  • Create and
    oversee high-level KPIs for the IT department.
  • Assist in
    recruiting, onboarding, and training IT managers and Administrators.
  • Work closely
    with other C-suite executives to align technology investments with
    business strategy and drive innovation across the organization.


Requirements:

  • A master’s
    degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant
    certifications such as ITIL, PMP, AWS and/or CISSP.
  • 15+ years of
    progressive experience in the information systems technology field with proven
    experience as a CIO or similar IT leadership roles for at least 5 years,
    demonstrating a track record of successful strategic planning and
    execution.


Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Excellent
    knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Extensive
    experience with system architecture, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies
  • Proficiency in
    establishing IT services framework and IT security policies
  • Knowledge and
    understanding of Database Management, Data Engineering and Data Science
  • Experience in
    leading projects, product management, and agile methodologies.
  • Innovation and
    change management
  • Good
    understanding of IT governance
  • Proficient in
    risk mitigation and data security of digital assets.
  • Strategic
    thinking and vision
  • Good
    communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and
    collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gain support for IT
    initiatives across the company
  • Strong business
    acumen and the ability to align technology initiatives with organizational
    goals.
