We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: HSE Supervision Service
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise HSE activities on-site, ensuring all operations are conducted in compliance with HSE policies and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams to enhance safety awareness and promote a culture of safety.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address HSE issues effectively.
- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all safety incidents, near misses, and accidents are reported, investigated, and documented.
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors, ensuring they know safety procedures and practices.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes, and update training materials accordingly.
- Lead investigations into safety incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
- Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Conduct regular emergency drills and ensure all personnel are trained in emergency response procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HSE activities, including incident reports, training records, and inspection logs.
- Prepare and submit HSE reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
- Participate in HSE meetings and committees to share knowledge and promote best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in HSE supervision.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in HSE management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary
N500,000 – N660,000 Monthly.
