Responsibilities:
Leadership and Staff Management:
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate the salon team, including stylists, receptionists, and other staff members.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and ensure team alignment.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and development of new staff members.
- Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operation.
Customer Service:
- Ensure that every client receives exceptional service from the moment they enter the salon until they leave.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business and referrals.
Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase salon revenue, including promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Work with the marketing team to promote the salon’s services and products through various channels.
Operations and Administration:
- Manage day-to-day salon operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stocking of products.
- Ensure that the salon is clean, well-maintained, and meets all health and safety standards.
- Handle financial responsibilities such as budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting.
Client Management:
- Develop and maintain a client database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Schedule appointments and manage the salon’s booking system to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure that clients are informed of new services, products, and promotions.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to salon operations.
- Implement and enforce salon policies and procedures, including those related to sanitation, safety, and professional conduct.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure that all staff members adhere to industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND
- 2 years of cognate experience
