Job Title: Economics / Account Teacher

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver business studies/Economics lessons that are engaging, informative, and aligned with the curriculum standards.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cover various topics in business studies, including economics, entrepreneurship, marketing, management, and finance.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and keep students engaged.
  • Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and performance.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Encourage students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Education, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. IGCSE Certification is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of business concepts, principles, and current trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive learning environment and manage classroom behavior effectively.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students to understand and appreciate business studies/Economics.
