We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Sales Executive

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full time

Job Description 

  • We are seeking an experienced sales professional with a strong technical track record and a genuine passion for selling industrial technology solutions to food, confectionery, and pharmaceutical industries.
  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales by targeting new prospects and cultivating existing customer relationships to achieve high repeat order rates and customer satisfaction.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Plan customer visit to industry decision maker/ project team to understand project scope.
  • Extract technical project information from customers and transmit such information to OEM partner in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Present machine layout and evaluate available factory footprint.
  • Manage project from scoping to handing over of equipment to customer during SAT (Site Acceptance Test)
  • Work closely with After Sales Teams
  • Achieve KPI’s and targets for areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain and increase market share by promoting and improving market presence in the region.
  • Preparing and updating weekly sales activity report.
  • Attend trade shows within the region.

Required Skills

  • Degree in Engineering, Food science or related field.
  • Minimum of five years sales working experience in the food industry.
  • Excellent customer relations skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Well-developed tehnical and Sales Skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and prior use of a CRM tool to manage customer engagements and run sales reports.
  • Ability to travel at least 70% of the time.
