Job Title: Fleet Tracking Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full Time
Working days: Mon-Sat, 8:30 am – 6 pm

Job Overview

• The fleet tracking officers are responsible for ensuring that the company’s vehicles are tracked and managed for operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities and Duties
Below are some of the responsibilities of the Fleet Tracking Manager:

• Responsible for tracking of vehicles.
• Monitor all vehicles and report their status.
• Maintain personal responsibility for tracking minimum of 50 trucks.
• Advise truck drivers on all legal and compliance matters relating to vehicles.
• Escalate drivers/vehicles that default on their vehicle tracking.
• Perform periodic vehicle inspection, report incidences and provide recommendations
• Submit tracking reports to the Fleet Tracking Manager on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Provide detailed periodic reports of vehicle status (locations, speed, violations, and usage).
• Identify trends, poor driving behavior, etc and escalate accordingly.
• Manage the process of fleet presentation, accident reporting, willful damages by drivers, vehicle maintenance and servicing.
• Any other duties assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of first degree in any discipline.
• Candidates must have completed National Service.
• Must be very skilled in Microsoft Office suite especially Excel.
• Maximum age desirable is 27 years.
• Must be able to work long hours.
• Must have a background experience in Haulage/Transport Company
