Job Title: Sales Manager – Chemical

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company’s business goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments for the company’s industrial chemical products.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Sales Execution:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective planning and execution.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, including negotiation and contract management.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, setting clear objectives and providing ongoing coaching and support.
- Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and implement strategies for improvement.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, handling any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Develop long-term partnerships with customers, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty.
Market Expansion:
- Identify and explore new market opportunities within Nigeria and potentially in other regions.
- Develop strategies to enter new markets, including product positioning, pricing, and distribution channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns that drive product awareness and sales.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, performance analysis, and market insights.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide feedback to senior management on market conditions, customer needs, and product performance.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure that all sales activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Promote safe handling and usage of industrial chemicals among customers and within the sales team.
