Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a wide range of continental and local dishes, ensuring authenticity and flavor.
  • Develop and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management and food safety compliance.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
  • Monitor food presentation and quality to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Collaborate with management to create special event menus and promotions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Remuneration: NGN 250,000 – 350,000
