Job Title: Orthodontist Doctor

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Perform orthodontic examinations and consultations to assess patients’ oral health and determine the most appropriate treatment plans.
• Recommend and provide a range of orthodontic treatments, including braces, retainers, aligners and other appliances, to correct dental irregularities and improve bite alignment.
• Collaborate with other dental professionals, such as general dentists and oral surgeons, to coordinate comprehensive oral healthcare for patients.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment progress, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired results.
• Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene techniques and maintain oral health.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in orthodontics, attending conferences and continuing education courses to expand your knowledge and skills.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited postgraduate orthodontic program.
• Valid and active state dental license.
• Strong knowledge of orthodontic principles, techniques, and materials.
• Excellent manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
