Job Title: Head of Sales / Business Development Manager
Location: Sabo Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Description
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives in the investment and credit facilities sector.
- Lead and manage the sales and business development team to drive performance and achieve targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on investment and credit facilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads.
- Negotiate and close high-value deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns and lead-generation strategies.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices.
- Provide training, mentorship, and support to the sales and business development team.
- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, or Sales Manager for at least five (3) years.
- Extensive experience in the investment and credit facilities sector.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and techniques specific to investment and credit facilities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software, financial analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
