We constantly seek to provide business specific finance options to our merchants according to their transaction needs. We service verticals such as FMCG, Consumer Electronics, Cosmetics, Building Materials, Agro-Allied, Spare Parts & Tyres, Food Distribution, Clothing & Fashion, Household Goods, Pharmaceuticals, Oil, Gas, Lubricants, Fabrics, Abattoir, Printing, Professional Services, Chemicals, Logistics, Haulage. We finance trade businesses at different scales such as Digitised Enterprises, Non-Digitised Enterprises, Distributors, Dealers & Sub-dealers, Large Retail Chains & Wholesalers.

Job Description

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Officer to join our team.
  • As a Sales Officer, your primary role will be to acquire new merchants and generate revenue for our Transaction Finance company.
  • You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with merchants.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new merchants & manage existing merchant transactions (Drawdown & Repayment)
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new merchants and generate revenue
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with merchants
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Risk & Compliance, Retention, Technical Support, and Product to ensure a seamless user experience
  • Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an added advantage
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role
  • Experience in the transaction finance industry is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Salary and Benefits

  • Gross Salary: N146,243
  • Net Salary (After Statutory Deductions): N135,000
  • Miscellaneous Allowance: N60,000
  • Total Monthly Take Home: N195,000 (Payable as broken down)
  • Commissions of 5% of the entire revenue generated within your portfolios, payable on overall performance monthly.
  • HMO – Yes (Covered by Company)
  • Pension- Yes
  • Government Mandatory (10% Contribution by Company. 8% Contribution by Employee)
  • PAYE Tax- Yes (Government Mandatory % of Basic Salary)
  • Miscellaneous Allowance – Yes (Cover Transport, Personal Airtime & Data Expenses)
