Job Title: Marketing Officer
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- A marketer is responsible for Developing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Creating promotional materials, such as brochures, flyers, and social media content.
- Managing the company’s online presence, including website and social media accounts.
- Analyzing data to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborating with sales teams to develop targeted campaigns and support business growth.
- Identifying new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Building relationships with industry partners, vendors, and customers.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies.
- Developing and managing marketing budgets and campaigns.
- Creating and implementing marketing plans to drive revenue growth.
- Communicating marketing initiatives to internal stakeholders.
- Building brand awareness and reputation through thought leadership and content marketing.
- Managing and optimizing the company’s digital presence, including SEO and email marketing.
- Analyzing customer insights and market trends to inform marketing strategies.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s / HND degree is required
- Must have a master’s Degree, professional certification in business and marketing is a plus.
- At least 5 years proven experience as a Marketer.
- Strong experience in a Shipping/logistics industry
- Existing customer base and an established network of contacts.
- Ability to effectively plan and organize appointments and meet reporting deadlines.
- Must have excellent networking skills.
- Participation in industry-related events.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
- Proven record of sales success.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies and achieving sales targets.
- Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue, market share and profitability.
Salary
N300,000 – N500,000 Monthly.
