We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Assistant

Location: Lagos Ibadan Expressway, Ogere – Ogun

Responsibilities

• Respects guests’ privacy and works without disturbing them
• Actively contributes to guests’ comfort
• Carries out occasional repair work as required
• Prevents problems from occurring in the hotel’s technical installations
• Implements the corrective action plans as communicated by the Maintenance Supervisor
• Follows the preventive maintenance program
• Applies water hygiene procedures
• Helps optimise energy and water consumption
• Applies Legionnaires’ disease preventative measures
• Applies the resort’s security regulations (in case of fire etc)
• Actively contributes to the safety of people and property (ensuring safety exits remain clear of obstruction etc)

Requirements

• Vocational certificate or Diploma in Electronics, Plumbing or Technical studies
• 2 years of experience in a similar field
• Practical and theoretical skills in related areas: cold-storage, air-conditioning, plumbing and electricity
• Fluent in the national language
• Flexibility- Responsive- Service minded and guest oriented
• A thorough and methodical approach
• Ability to identify problems
• Attention to detail
• Very autonomous
• Dynamic
