Job Overview
- We are seeking a skilled and innovative Architect to join our dynamic interior design team.
- The ideal candidate will have a reasonable amount of experience, a strong design portfolio, and the ability to translate both our creative visions and clients’ expectations into functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.
- The Architect will work closely with the design and project management teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Design Development:
- Collaborate with the design team to develop architectural concepts and designs.
- Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, and 3D models.
- Ensure designs align with client needs, building regulations, and sustainability standards.
Project Management:
- Oversee project phases from initial concept through to completion.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure work adheres to design specifications.
Client Engagement:
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and present design proposals.
- Provide expert advice on design modifications and adjustments.
Technical Proficiency:
- Utilize advanced design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) to create detailed and accurate designs.
- Ensure all architectural designs and documents comply with industry standards and local regulations.
Innovation and Creativity:
- Bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to design challenges.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, materials, and technologies in architecture and interior design.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in architecture and interior design.
- Proven track record of successfully completed projects.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Excellent visualization skills with the ability to translate concepts into reality.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications:
- Architect Registration Council of Nigeria (or in the process of registration) is preferred.
- Nigerian Institute of Architect registered.
Personal Attributes:
- Highly creative with a passion for design.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to meeting deadlines.
